Okay, here's what SHD has to say -
it's a blogger problem - nothing that you are doing. When you get the error message, There is a little "check" box underneath the error message that says "ignore html errors". Make sure you "check" this box, and then press continue. Once you do this, it should work - you might have to do this everytime, until Blogger fixes the problem.
Also, I have had to switch my blog over to Beta Blogger as I was no longer able to leave comments on my pals blogs that were on the new Beta version - I could still leave comments on non Beta blogs, but not the Beta ones. So, just keep that in mind when you are commenting if you are having problems.
